Video in which children and teachers explain how learners at Inveravon Primary School use weekly reflections to set themselves targets for skills they want to develop. They also set themselves longer term targets and write an annual report. The process allows them to take responsibility for their learning, assess how they have developed their strengths, think about strategies to address the areas where they are less strong and develop resilience. Video in which the staff of Kersland School outline their vision of the school as centre of excellence. In addition to helping young people to gain SQA and ASDAN qualifications, they focus on skills for life, including using a 'flat' where young people can develop practical, independent living skills like cooking, washing clothes and cleaning.
