The focus of this movie is multi-agency approaches to improve learning. It highlights some of the key features of excellent practice in schools including: committing to joint working by all parties; clarifying distinctive contributions of community groups, professional and voluntary agencies and the business community; joint planning which draws on a range of information and support; joint training of staff from schools and partner agencies; focusing on improvements in young people's learning and support; and minimising barriers to partners' involvement.
