Alan McLean

Alan McLean is a educational psychologist who has helped Scottish schools to gain a greater understanding of the role of motivation in learning.  His publication in 2003, The Motivated School, has promoted greater awareness of how classroom climates impact upon learning and achievement.  Alan’s more recent work on Learning Stances provides teachers with strategies for building higher levels of intrinsic motivation in learners.
