Better Futures (Dyslexia) Conference

HMIE launched the 'Education for Learners with Dyslexia' report on 28 October 2008. The report evaluated provision for children, young people and adults with dyslexia in Scotland.

Inspectors visited a number of pre-school centres, primary, secondary, independent and special schools, Scotland’s colleges and faculties of education in Scottish universities.

They surveyed the views of children, parents, schools and authorities and evaluated the quality of support provided.

Best practice

This film presents a selection of the views expressed by children, young people, parents, adult learners and education professionals. It focuses on best practice in meeting the needs of learners with dyslexia.
